You will contextualize Graphic Design within the history of Design. You will identify trends and explore the possible future of Graphic Design aligned with innovation and the impact that factors such as Artificial Intelligence will have on its practice.

You will work with color and images as iconic, symbolic, and rhetorical elements in Graphic Design. You will learn about compositional systems in multi-format design and visual rhetoric applied to the representation, persuasion, and transmission of audiovisual content that can express emotions and connect with viewers.

You will apply Design thinking and creativity stimulation techniques to the Design process, improving the narrative discourse of Design and your own presentation skills.

You will develop competencies beyond the creative, conceptual, or technical aspects of the discipline, focusing on collateral elements related to the profession: applied legislation, economic aspects, organizational structures, business models, ethics, and social and environmental responsibility.

You will apply typographic knowledge as a distinctive and differentiating element of professional practice, regardless of the discipline.

You will learn techniques using equipment, materials, and digital image processing tools involved in photography practice and its specific application to Graphic Design. The reference software will be Adobe Lightroom and Adobe Photoshop.

In this workshop, you will work on the design, strategy, and programming of brands in corporate and institutional environments. You will also apply packaging as a primary support and point of contact for consumer brands. It is an integrative workshop using vector-based tools, digital image processing, and presentation. The reference software will be primarily Adobe Illustrator, as well as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat Pro, and Microsoft PowerPoint or Keynote.

You will work on the design and production control of editorial projects and applied graphics. This integrative workshop emphasizes the use of word processing and typographic treatment tools, with a particular focus on offline graphic production, including techniques, materials, processes, and their coexistence with the online environment. You will also work on communication with suppliers and collaborators and presentation techniques for client projects. The reference software will be primarily Adobe InDesign, as well as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat Pro, and Microsoft PowerPoint or Keynote.

You will work on the design of audiovisual projects and motion graphics. In this workshop, you will apply audiovisual storytelling and audiovisual production and post-production processes using video and audio editing tools. The reference software will be Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, and Adobe Photoshop.

You will develop interactive design projects with user experience design, research, strategy, information architecture, prototyping, visual design, usability analysis, evaluation, and documentation, focusing on digital product development such as websites and apps.
