You will receive comprehensive training in 2D animation, cut-out, 3D film techniques and motion capture.
More than 400 computers and Cintiq 22” graphic tablets with specific Design software, plus 1,200 m2 of workshops to bring your projects to life.
The teachers of the Degree are active professionals working in national and international animation studios.
Our University Campus located in the heart of Madrid is full of activities, masterclasses, catwalks, contests, fairs, events, etc. to maximise students’ creativity.
Precursors in elevating design degrees to the university level, creating the first Official Degrees in Product Design, Fashion Design, Interior Design, Video Game Design and Development or Multimedia and Graphic Design.

The Animation Degree Curriculum consists of 240 ECTS credits divided into 4 courses.
You will begin to master the basic techniques of technical and artistic drawing. Throughout the course you will begin to animate in two dimensions, in the classical way. You will acquire a broad training in art, acting and scriptwriting.

During the second course you will deepen the concepts and techniques started the previous year, and you will also start working on 3D animation, as well as photography and lighting.

You will deepen your knowledge of 3D animation, adding special effects. Audio is an important element in any production, here is the time to learn all the secrets. Film directing and editing will be key this year in order to develop advanced projects.

After studying animation at ESNE, I stayed in London rotating between animation studios such as The Line, Headless, Golden Wolf, Sun Creature, Nexus and others. Right now I’m working as an animation supervisor for a very interesting Netflix project, which unfortunately I can’t talk about right now.
