Director of the Animation Department. Manuel Sirgo is a director, producer, animation artist and teacher at ESNE. A member of the Spanish Film Academy since 2002, in 1997 he founded the production company 12 Pingüinos S.L., through which he has won numerous film awards. Among them, two Goya Awards stand out. In 2002 he received the Goya Award for Best Animated Short Film for “Pollo” and in 2019 Best Animated Short Film.
