Lecturer and researcher in film and audiovisual media. D. from the University of Florida and a degree in Audiovisual Communication from the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. She has taught film and media, literature, animation and communication, both in English and Spanish. In 2017 she received the Ruth McQuown Award from the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences (University of Florida) in recognition of her commitment to diversity and overcoming barriers in the classroom. As a researcher, her main interests include the narrative potential of virtual reality, contemporary Ibero-American cinema, and transnational cinemas among others. She is currently part of the research group Agencia RV, within Medialab Prado, where she is producing a virtual reality piece. He also has experience in 3D animation film production, theatre production, and in different film festivals, such as the San Sebastian International Film Festival.
