Get to know the campus
UDIT is located in Madrid’s Chamartín district, in the heart of Madrid. The campus boasts some13,000 square metres spread over three buildings. In addition to another building in the nearby Arturo Soria area, ESTEC headquarters, where the vocational training centre is located.
You will find theory and practical classrooms, as well as technological laboratories to be able to carry out any project. We have an auditorium with capacity for more than 400 people, a cafeteria with an outdoor terrace, a library and study areas. The campus is open from 8:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. from Monday to Friday. Students can use the facilities and have access to all the school’s resources.

Materials Library & Research
Thanks to our agreement with Material ConneXion, we are the only University School in Spain that has a physical and online archive of innovative and sustainable materials.
FabLab
Digital manufacturing and experimentation laboratory with state-of-the-art equipment and machinery. Some of these are unique to the Spanish university, such as our 3 x 2 x 2 metre multimaterial 3D printer.
High Tech
UDIT has 11 high-performance computer laboratories, updated at the pace of technological evolution. Including Wacom Cintiq graphic tablet rooms, Mac room, high processing Pc lab.
Lectra
UDIT provides its students with industrial pattern-making software that allows them to increase textile productivity, quality and customisation of garments, enhancing the speed and quality of the final pattern-making process through facilitating scaling, marking and cutting.
MediaLab
UDIT provides its students with a multimedia laboratory equipped with professional audiovisual production equipment: Canon, Nikon and JVC digital video and photography cameras, spotlights and flashes, microphones and sound recorders, poles, chroma screens, tripods, video software, etc.
Shima Seiki
Japanese software and hardware, Shima Seiki, that allows you to create the virtual prototype of a fabric or garment before production by placing a three-dimensional pattern on an avatar.
