TEACHERS

María Rubio is a graphic designer and holds a degree in Fine Arts, specialising in design, from the UCM. She has teaching experience as co-director of the Master in editorial design at the IED Istituto Europeo di Design in Madrid. She is responsible for “Workshop 2: graphics and publishing” in this master’s degree. Her professional career has developed in the gráfica futura collective, which, formalised in 1995, has carried out editorial, exhibition, identity, signage and multimedia design projects. As art director, she has coordinated editorial projects for museums, institutions and national and international companies, designing books, catalogues, collections, newsletters and magazines. Her work has been recognised in the 1999, 2004, 2011, 2014 and 2017 editions of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport’s Awards for the best book published in Spain (art category).
