Nicolás Alegre Soto

I started working in the videogame industry around the year 2000. After several titles finished on PC and PS2, I worked on my first AAA titles (Clive Barker’s Jericho and Castlevania LOS, both for PS3). I decided to change disciplines and switched to 3D animation, working on 2 films and a short film (“Tadeo Jones”, “The Hand of Nefertiti” and “Catch the Flag”). After working in several companies, I came back to Mercury&Steam and participated in “Metroid: Dread” for Nintendo Switch. Currently I work as Senior Environment Artist at Electronic Arts Madrid.
He teaches the subjects Graphics Engines and Plugins, Knowledge Engineering: AI and Middleware: Development Tools.
