Ernesto Naranjo

Ernesto Naranjo, a fashion designer based in Spain, founded his label in 2014 after winning the Mercedes Benz Fashion Talent at Madrid Fashion Week. A graduate and MA from Central Saint Martins, he presented his collection at London Fashion Week with the support of the Alexander Mcqueen Scholarship. Ernesto has worked at Maison Margiela under its Creative Director, John Galliano, in the Artisanal and Prêt-à-Porter departments, at Balmain alongside Olivier Rousteing and has created capsule collections for Lane Crawford Hong Kong.
“Family First” is the basis of all his projects. The family and the different personalities that form it are important for the research and creative process of his collections. The dramatic point of her ideas is mixed with the irony and geometry of the shapes. The visual ease of her looks takes on personality with the accessories.
Ernesto Naranjo produces all his collections in the south of Spain where he works with specialised craftsmen and dressmakers. The idea of rescuing craftsmanship and injecting all the knowledge acquired from his international career in fashion houses in Paris has been the perfect excuse to return to his roots and build his studio in Spain.
His last two collections were presented at the Palais de Tokyo during Paris Haute Couture Week and at London and Madrid Fashion Week in February 2019.Ernesto Naranjo was selected as one of the three finalists for the Who’s on Next 2019 award thanks to Vogue Spain.
