Dr. Ángel Luís Fernández Muñoz

PhD in Architecture from the Polytechnic University of Madrid He has been General Director of the Madrid City Council’s Downtown Office, Architect Curator of the Spanish Senate, Architect-Conservator of the Círculo de Bellas Artes in Madrid, Territorial Architect of the Department of Culture of the Regional Government of Castilla y León, Architect Inspector of Monuments of the Ministry of Culture and Advisor to the Mayor’s Office of Medellín (Colombia) for the “Medellín Centro Plan”. Winner in 2013 of the first European Prize for Urban and Regional Planning in its ninth edition for the Madrid Centro Project. Silver Medal of the European University of Madrid “in recognition of his personal and professional career”. He was also awarded the “Architectural Rehabilitation 1992-1996″ prize by the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of the Immaculate Conception of Valladolid for the intervention in the Pasaje Gutiérrez in Valladolid.
