Copper Project

The collaboration in the Design and Development of the Smart Electric Charger, has been the origin of a Framework Agreement for Research and Innovation ESNE / Wallbox Chargers, in the area of Electric Mobility.

The first commercial project resulting from the collaboration was presented in Stuttgart at the EVS30 Electric Vehicle Symposium & Exhibition 2017. Subsequently, new collaborations have been presented in Munich during eMove360 2017, at the Geneva Motorshow 2018, in Barcelona during the Mobile World Congress, together with SEAT, and in Beijing in the context of the International EV Technology Fair 2018.

Half of the products presented to the South Summit Europe 2017 candidacy have been developed jointly with ESNE students, with the company Wallbox Chargers being the overall winner in Europe.

At the beginning of the project, a team of 13 undergraduate students took part and it was completed by three scholarship students and two part-time students.
