Proto Space: a unique space of more than 1,000 m2 to do science in Madrid. Equipped to work on practical subjects that require research, experimentation and prototyping.
Located in one of the main arteries of the city, Alcalá Street, the new UDIT campus will incorporate 7,000 new m2 of state-of-the-art technology.
State-of-the-art equipment and programs adapted to the needs of each subject.
Open facilities within the building in which to develop university life.
Specific spaces for technological immersion: guarantee the generation of knowledge adapted to current and future realities.
The International Federation of Robotics (IFR) defines service robotics as “robot or equipment for personal or professional use that performs tasks useful to humans excluding applications for industrial automation”.
The differentiation with respect to industrial robotics lies in the intended application. Thus, industrial robotics refers to those robots used in industrial automation applications. In addition, they are usually large in size, have similar functionalities and perform repetitive tasks.
In contrast, service robots tend to be smaller and more mobile, but their functionalities vary depending on their end application.
Want to know more? Check out this article and discover all the differences between the two.
Robotic engineering is a discipline that combines the knowledge and technological advances of other branches of engineering, such as mechanics, electronics, computer science, telecommunications, industrial engineering, etc., through which engineers design, develop and operate robots for different purposes.
Service robotics is a discipline that focuses the work of robotic applications and devices on the end user and their interaction with them.
You will use several programming languages, including C++, C#, Python, JavaJDK or Java JRE, along with their most used libraries.
You will learn how to use the main development environments such as Express.js, Visual Studio, TensorFlow, Anaconda, NLTK, Apache and Eclipse.
You will use software development tools such as SQL Server, MongoDB, OpenCV and Tableau.
Visualization and prototyping tools Autodesk Fusion 360. AutoCad, Proteus, Ltspice, Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, KiCad, RobotStudio, Gazebo Simulator

Yes, all the degrees offered at UDIT are official and internationally recognized.
You must be careful with other degrees offered in the market as “Official Degrees” that in reality are not.
To check if a degree is official, you should consult the website of the RUCT (Registro de Universidades, Centros y Títulos), an official body belonging to the Ministry of Universities that oversees academic organization and university officialdom.
All our Degrees start from scratch, so it is not necessary to take a specific type of baccalaureate. However, if you have any doubts, you can consult this article for more information.
It is true that, due to the type of our degrees, it is usually recommended to take a bachelor’s degree in science and technology, with special attention to subjects such as Mathematics and, if possible, having taken subjects related to Computer Science, Programming, Computing and Technology in general.
Although not essential, previous programming experience and participation in personal software development projects is a significant added value.
At the end of the Robotics Degree you will be able to work in positions such as:
UDIT does not require a cut-off mark for admission to the Degree in Robotics. However, due to the specificity of these, potential students must take their own specific admission tests.
