You will work with a set of projects that will help you to understand the creative processes and to put into practice in an analog and digital way the knowledge acquired in subjects such as the application of color, photography and illustration.

The student will work on a series of techniques for graphic and narrative communication in an effective and imaginative way such as story board or comic. They will begin to express ideas graphically using techniques, sketches, photography, typography, in an effective and professional way and to understand the psychological impact of perception.

You will work with software applications in an effective and creative way to present a series of graphic works in 2D and 3D and in professional video, working with audiovisual material, manipulating it with advanced techniques. The course presents numerous workshops of real graphic projects (advertising, brochures, brochures, publishing, packaging …) and it is the time for internships in companies. You will understand the fundamentals and the importance of User Experience design and interface design.

You will develop methods for the creation of multimedia applications and animations. You will be able to carry out the art direction of a complex communication or advertising project ; to transform data into visual images and infographics; to develop an audiovisual branding project.

You will be able to complement your university education with our specialized training in Artificial Intelligence, the technology that is revolutionizing the creative industry.

UDIT offers four degrees, from the most basic to the most advanced, in Artificial Intelligence that you can study while pursuing your degree.

Each of them is composed of two subjects of 6 ECTS each, to be taught throughout the academic year, one in the first semester and the other in the second semester. Sou can only take one degree per academic year.

If you decide to pursue all four degrees you will be able to acquire a University Diploma Specialist in Artificial Intelligence.

If you come from the Spanish educational system, you must meet at least one of the following requirements to study this degree at UDIT:

  • To have passed the University Entrance Exam (EVAU) with a grade of APTO.
  • Students coming from a Higher Level Training Cycle or FP II.
  • Students entering from completed Spanish university studies.
  • Students accessing through the University Entrance Examination for those over 25 years of age, for those over 40 years of age and for those over 45 years of age.

Students from educational systems outside Spain:

  • Students from pre-university education systems of European Union member states and countries with reciprocity agreements.
  • Students in possession of the International Baccalaureate Diploma.
  • Students from foreign pre-university education systems.
  • Students with foreign university studies who access through homologation of their studies.
  • Students with official foreign university studies completed or not yet completed, who gain access through official validation.

Yes, all degrees offered at UDIT are official and internationally recognized.

You must be careful with other degrees offered in the market as “Official Degrees” that in reality are not.
To check if a degree is official, you should consult the website of the RUCT (Registro de Universidades, Centros y Títulos), an official body belonging to the Ministry of Universities that oversees academic organization and university officialdom.

The first step is to request information, you can do it through the web, by phone at 91 555 25 28 or by email: orientación.universitaria@udit.es.

The next step is to perform the level test, whose objective is to know the student’s academic competencies, allowing the detection of reinforcement actions before the beginning of the course.

Once you have taken the test and have been notified of your admission to UDIT, make a registration reservation to guarantee your place for the next course.
Places are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.

UDIT does not require a cut-off mark for admission to university degrees. However, due to the specificity of these degrees, potential students must take their own specific admission tests.

All our degrees start from scratch, so it is not necessary to take a specific type of baccalaureate. Even so, if you have any doubts, you can consult this article for more information.

It is true that due to the typology of our degrees, it is usually recommended to take a bachelor’s degree in arts or science and technology.

The entrance test aims to better understand the profile of the future student precisely to be able to offer personalized attention and, if necessary, to reinforce any previous skills such as artistic drawing.

Under no circumstances should you be concerned about your previous training when it comes to getting the most out of our careers.

What bachelor’s degree do you need to study Illustration?

Of course, by offering you an official degree, you can apply for all public scholarships for this type of degree.
In addition, official scholarships are compatible with our internal study grants. If you have a good academic record or if creativity is part of your DNA, do not hesitate to apply for all of them.

The Bachelor’s Degree in Audiovisual Design and Illustration lasts four years. During this time, students complete a curriculum that includes:

  • Theoretical and practical training: To develop a solid knowledge base in audiovisual design and production.
  • Integrative projects: These projects allow the application of what has been learned in real situations.
  • Internships: In leading companies in the sector, to gain experience and establish contacts in the industry.
  • Final Degree Project: A personal project that demonstrates the student’s ability to develop and manage a complete audiovisual design and illustration project.

Audiovisual design is a discipline that encompasses multiple facets of the creation and production of visual and sound content. At UDIT, our students learn to:

  1. Conceptualize and develop audiovisual projects: from the initial idea to the final production.
  2. Use state-of-the-art tools: video editing software, animation, graphic design and special effects.
  3. Develop technical and artistic skills: In areas such as cinematography, art direction, sound design and digital illustration.
  4. Working in teams and managing projects: Preparing them for collaboration in studios and companies in the audiovisual sector.
  5. Innovate and experiment: With new techniques and formats, always with a practical and industry-oriented approach.

Adobe programs are installed on the computers enabled for this purpose in the classrooms. Starting in the 2025-26 academic year, all UDIT students will have an Adobe Creative Cloud license that can be used on any device, inside or outside the University.
