With a PhD in Audiovisual Communication from the Complutense University and a degree in Law from the Carlos III University of Madrid, he is director of the Master in Digital Marketing at the Isabel I University and teaches the subjects Applied Legislation and Advertising Products, Markets and Media at ESNE. He also has teaching experience at the Complutense and Nebrija Universities in Madrid, where he collaborates in several Masters related to communication and digital education. His research interests include the cultural analysis of the changes produced by digitalisation and digital remixing, and the use of alternative aesthetics in brand communication. He is the author of several research articles and book chapters, and has been a speaker at national and international conferences. Professionally, he has more than fifteen years of experience in the world of online communication and digital marketing. He held the position of e-commerce manager and head of digital strategy at the publishing and book group Marcial Pons, and since 2012 he has worked as a freelance e-commerce consultant, community manager and content developer, collaborating with several agencies and consultancies specialising in digital communication, where he has worked on online campaigns for Tele 5, Movistar and Repsol, among other large companies.
