DOWNLOAD THE CATALOG AND FEESConsult the Teaching Guides of the Master’s Degree in Fashion Design  Our courses are demanding and professionalizing. After the interview with the Master’s director, if you do not have knowledge in any of these areas, two complementary courses of 6 ECTS each will be recommended, which must be taken before the start of classes.

Study of the evolution and transformation of the most contemporary clothing from the profound changes in the twentieth century inherited from the industrial revolution to the present day, assessing the most relevant collections of prestigious fashion designers and their relationship with the different socio-cultural and economic environments that have been taking place in this period.

Analysis of materials applied to Fashion Design, prioritizing fabrics and their main characteristics (including new sustainable materials) as well as the different assembly techniques and possible finishes that can add value to a fashion creation.

Study of Fashion as a social phenomenon, assessing its function and impact on society through the different elements that govern it: the individual, the different collectives or tribes and the research and propagation of trends.

Analysis of the different communication strategies used in the Fashion Industry, which allow to associate a discourse to a firm and its creative universe in order to achieve a positioning and a valued and recognizable brand image.

Study of the different sectors and segments of the current fashion market, and analysis of the different buying behaviors in order to ensure that the proposed designs respond to a real need and an existing demand in a particularly competitive and globalized market.

I work with the technological tools applied to Fashion Design for the graphic representation, illustration and technical drawing of a garment or by extension of a collection.

The technological tools applied to fashion design are worked on and determined for the graphic representation of a garment, which illustrates its technical data sheet and thus ensures its correct preparation a posteriori.

I work with the technological tools applied to Fashion Design for the virtual 3D modeling of a garment or collection, which favors its communication and volumetric vision.

The pattern-making techniques for the construction of a garment are specified, differentiating modeling, as a more random and creative technique, from pattern-making, which starts with the taking of body measurements and knowledge of the cutting of the base structures.

Learning the different processes and techniques to manage, create, develop and communicate a collection in a coherent way from its approach to its implementation in the market, considering different aspects such as the collection plan, styling, merchandising, photography, etc.

Application of the knowledge acquired for the creation of fashion designs with a more commercial approach and industrial production with the intention of being able to meet the needs of the market at all times and based on real cases.

Development of personal skills through the realization of projects within a multidisciplinary team in one of the companies with which UDIT has collaboration agreements, thus favoring professional communication skills.

Completion of an original and individual work in which the knowledge acquired in the Master is integrated and reflected.

The typology of existing seams and the different types of assembly possible for textile manufacturing will be studied, with special emphasis on their characteristics and locations in the garments to achieve an optimal assembly, which should be reflected in the technical and manufacturing data sheets for subsequent production.

The applicable bases are established for the creation of fashion designs with a more commercial approach and industrial production to meet the needs of the market at all times.
