This is a furniture project in which a piece is created that leads the user to a reflection and an experience of mystery through a dialectic between opposites such as revelation and concealment. With artistic influences such as Magritte, philosophical influences such as Hegel and inspired by designers such as Martin Margiela and architectural movements such as brutalism.
The piece was manufactured using new manufacturing technologies such as 3D printing and a handmade part such as modelling the material by hand, which means that each piece is unique. The innovative material of the piece is Concrete Canvas, generally used in civil constructions, a material composed of textiles and concrete, characterised by its high durability, resistance and sustainability.
