6 anys en blanc

The Laus Awards have become the most important design and visual communication awards in Spain.

Since their creation in 1964, they have been organised annually by ADG-FAD, the Association of Graphic Designers and Art Directors of the FAD. However, the awards could not be held for six editions, specifically in the five years following their creation – from 1965 to 1969 – and in 1976.

The pieces and graphic artists of those years remain unhistoricised. 6 anys en blanc is a publishing project that aims to create a solid foundation of the six blank years of the Laus Awards, and therefore of the situation of graphic design in Catalonia and the pioneers of this profession at that time, through a total of six volumes that serve as a tribute and recognition to the historic designers and their respective creations, from a close and emotional point of view.
