OVERVIEW

Advertising is no longer about making ads. It is about creating ideas that embed themselves in culture, ideas that people remember without needing repetition. Today, brands are not looking for “advertisers”; they are looking for brand creators. People capable of developing a powerful idea and translating it across every format. 360º profiles who understand the brand as a whole, combining creativity, strategy, branding, design, content, digital experience, and culture in a world where capturing attention has never been more difficult.

The world needs professionals who can think, create, and adapt. Analytical thinking, creativity, leadership, resilience, empathy, and constant curiosity are among the most valued skills in today’s job market. At UDIT, these competencies are embedded into the learning experience from day one, through a hands-on methodology based on real projects, international experiences, industry events, and a creative environment where you will learn to transform ideas into visual messages that connect with people.

At UDIT, you will work on real briefs, develop 360º campaigns, build brand identities, and learn to move fluidly between branding, art direction, content creation, audiovisual production, and digital environments. You will take part in festivals, creative competitions, and industry projects while building a personal portfolio that reflects who you are and how you think. Because, as Leo Burnett said, good advertising does not just communicate information, it enters people’s minds and awakens desires and beliefs.

Rafa Povo, director of the Degree in Advertising and Brand Creation, tells you all about it:

    The Advertising of the Future

  • Branding is the process of defining and building a brand. It consists of defining actions that influence and determine the brand value. This includes:

    • Defining the brand identity: creating a unique personality that connects emotionally with the public.
    • Developing the visual and verbal image: designing logos, slogans and other visual elements that represent the brand.
    • Brand positioning: determine how the brand is perceived in the marketplace and work to maintain a positive and consistent image.
    • Ongoing communication: maintaining constant interaction with the public through various marketing channels and tactics.

This process is critical as successful branding will build a distinctive and relevant brand value, facilitating the extension of the company's brand in the marketplace, positioning it as a benchmark and placing it in the minds of consumers directly or indirectly.
