The Animation Degree Curriculum consists of 240 ECTS credits divided into 4 courses.
You will begin to master the basic techniques of technical and artistic drawing. Throughout the course you will begin to animate in two dimensions, in the classical way. You will acquire a broad training in art, acting and scriptwriting.

During the second course you will deepen the concepts and techniques started the previous year, and you will also start working on 3D animation, as well as photography and lighting.

Student Advisor at UDIT
The animation industry requires qualified professionals. On the one hand, more and more computer special effects are being used in more and more productions, more Animation films and Video Games are being produced. On the other hand, it is a global industry. Thanks to the internet, you can work on any production worldwide from a single workplace.
It has a duration of 4 years.
The subjects are divided into 4 courses, totalling 60 ECTS per course. You will find all the details in the “Curriculum” section.
No previous experience is required to study the Bachelor’s Degree in Animation at UDIT. The entry requirement is to have passed the Bachillerato (Baccalaureate/A-levels), regardless of the branch you have studied. Students in the artistic branch will have an easier time in some subjects, but they always start from scratch.
During your training at UDIT you will receive comprehensive training in both 2D and 3D animation. The UDIT faculty, many of whom are film industry professionals, will show you all aspects of animated film production, from pre-production, production and post-production.
