Of course. The Community of Madrid announces every year a series of grants for the study of Higher Vocational Training in private schools. Thedeadline for submitting applications last year began on June 27, 2023 and ended on July 17, 2023.
The amount of the scholarship ranges between €3,500 and €5,400. Both first year students and second year students are eligible (between 1,700 and 2,700 € per year). Do not hesitate to get information and apply for your scholarship, 95% of our students already enjoy it. The scholarship is applied to teaching and can reduce it considerably.
In addition, the Community of Madrid also announces a series of grants called “Second Chance” for the study of Higher Vocational Training, with an amount similar to the previous scholarship. The application period for the last academic year was open from July 7, 2023 to July 27, 2023, both inclusive.
All our CFGS start from scratch, so it is not necessary to take a specific type of training.
It is true that due to the typology of our degrees, it is usually recommended to take a bachelor’s degree in arts or science and technology.
The purpose of the entrance test is to better understand the profile of the future student in order to offer personalized attention and, if necessary, to reinforce any previous skills.
Under no circumstances should you be concerned about your previous training when it comes to getting the most out of our careers.
The HND (Higher National Diploma) is an official qualification that belongs to the British university education system and is internationally recognized, whose equivalence is equal to 120 ECTS credits (European Credit Transfer System).
The HND adds value to your resume, allows you to improve your university recognition and you can even do a third year in the United Kingdom and obtain a Bachelor in Arts, the British equivalent of an Official University Degree.
This training complement is taught in parallel to the two years of the corresponding Higher Level Training Cycle, with a teaching load of two more subjects per year. The rest of the subjects are validated with the subjects taken in the Higher Level Training Cycle.
HNDs are Level 5 qualifications under the UK Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF, www.accreditedqualifications.org.uk).
Access to the job market – Once you have your HND, you are ready to obtain a position in your chosen industry.
Since HNDs focus on knowledge and skills relevant to the world of work, many companies such as Shell, BAE Sytems, PWC and Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group consistently hire candidates with these qualifications.
In addition, more than 70 professional bodies and colleges in the UK recognize HNDs for membership. In an increasingly competitive global job market, an HND will help you stand out from the crowd.
Progression to university study – 95% of UK higher education institutions accept students with HND to complete a Degree. Nearly 300 universities worldwide – including many in The Times Top 100 international rankings – accept HND students on advanced courses.
